Is pick up and drop off part of the driving lesson?
All lessons include pick up and drop off as part of the price. Sometimes learners want to be picked up at home, and dropped off at school or work or visa versa. We are more than happy to do this. See the schools and suburbs we service here below.
About Driver Trainers :
All Social driver trainers are Qld government accredited. All trainers pass a police check and carry a valid blue card and Australian driver’s licence.
What do we do when they’ve done 100 hours?
Your driver trainer will be monitoring the progress of your child closely, most students will be ready for their test after completing their logbook 100 hours but not all, some students need more experience than this. It all comes down to the individual and whether or not they are confident and road safe. In the lead up to the 100 hours your driving trainer will advise if the student is ready and then take steps to prepare them for their driving test. Once they’re ready, they can book with the government www.tmr.qld.gov.au/Licensing and if need be arrange a Social Driving School car to use on the day of their test.
Is one hour with an accredited trainer worth three hours in the log book?
Absolutely, up until they have had ten lessons with an accredited driver trainer at which point one hour is worth just one hour. 30 hours may be more than a learner needs with a professional.
